Then news from the distributors stated that the film’s release had been postponed to August 15. According to Filmnagar sources, Kathanayakudu will hit the screens on August 1.
The film is directed by P.Vasu of Chandramukhi fame and stars Nayanatara, Meena and Mamta Mohandas in pivotal roles. The music is composed by young GV Prakash, who happens to be the nephew of AR Rehman.
The rights of the Telugu version of this film, titled Kuselan in Tamil, have been taken by Aswini Dutt under his Vyjayanthi Movies. (source:searchandhra.com)
